The Call of AgonIfferon hid away in the monastery at Larksong to avoid the reality of his lineage as a Child of Telm, the long-dead god who sent the demon-king Agon to the Underworld. When the final attack at Larksong begins, Ifferon is forced out of the grip of the menacing head-cleric Teron and into the unstable grasp of Herr’Don, the militaristic son of the King, who takes battle like a lover. He is also accompanied by the poet Yavun, who pretends to be a cleric, amongst other darker secrets. As they retreat they learn of a plot to unchain Agon and encounter many allies determined to stop his Call. They are all playing on the same side, yet Ifferon cannot help but doubt them, for everyone has a dark history, and Ifferon must be careful who he trusts.
